For children and young people we coordinate and develop dance activity across the county, working with schools, arts venues and community groups.

For those people who want to dance we regularly work with practitioners throughout Somerset to make workshops and dance classes happen.

For dance artists and those working in the industry, we provide performance opportunities and support dance companies by staging events and residencies in Somerset venues. We also co-commission new work and generate opportunities for networking and professional development, offering training, mentoring and support.

Since 2003 we have developed dance activity across the county, regionally and nationally, working with many choreographers and companies including Richard Alston, Jasmin Vardimon, Mark Bruce Company, David Hughes Dance, Pretty Good Girl Dance Theatre, Fleur Darkin, Yorke Dance Project and Probe Dance.
