We are famous for our cows, cheese, cider and the largest open-air music festival in Europe. In Somerset we love big ideas and are working towards a county where artists, practitioners and companies are inspired to make, produce and present extraordinary theatre.
Take Art Theatre offers support, resources and opportunities to Somerset-based artists, practitioners and companies; young people and youth theatre companies; venues and programmers.
This may include
- Opportunities for professional development through workshops, masterclasses and skillshares;
- Opportunities for showcasing, sharing work and rigorous debate about contemporary practice;
- Offering support for the making, producing, programming and promoting of work;
- Advice, signposting, networking and brokering partnerships;
- Orginating ideas and developing new ways of working;
- Extending regional, national and international links to bring high-quality work into Somerset;
If you make, produce or present work predominantly for the people of Somerset and your practice would benefit from our support, then we’d be happy to hear from you.
