On Saturday 5 February Take Art and Angel Heart Theatre are bringing an incredible magical adventure of puppetry and music to the St Georges Hall, Hinton St George.
Date: 19 Jan 2011
Categories: live
This is a family show for anyone over four years that combines breath-taking puppets (including shadow puppetry) with live music and a specially commissioned soundtrack.
Malina’s Dream is a spell-binding tale about a friendship so strong it can bridge the gap between two worlds. Malina is an excitable young girl who lives with her Grandpa in the land of the midnight sun. Into her frozen world comes a dream of a stranger whose ship is crushed in the ice. When Malina discovers her dream has become real she realises that she alone has the power to save the stranger’s life…with just a little help from Grandpa and his magic drum!
Take Art Live Director Sarah Peterkin said, “I can guarantee this will be an unforgettable experience of magical theatre for all the family. It’s a fabulous story told with invention, imagination and incredible puppets… Adults will enjoy it almost as much as the kids!”
“A truly wonderful show. Our three children were spellbound from start to finish.” East Chinnock Village Hall audience member about previous show.
Malina’s Dream will take place in St Georges Hall, Hinton St George on Saturday 5 February at 3.30pm. Tickets are priced at £6 / £4 and £18 for a family ticket. Call 01460 77214 to book.
