A Somerset scheme for 2-5 year olds to work with artists, now in its 12th successful year!

In rural pre-schools, nurseries and playgroups experienced artists encourage the under fives to create art by working with different and exciting media. Already there have been 300 such taster schemes, with 400 under fives working with artists every year.

Each Take Part project produces beautiful and imaginative works such as shadow images, banners, or adventurous songs, stories and dance, large clay objects or floor artworks and willow dens. They bring immediate and tangible results but through it the artists also unfold and develop the children’s long term creative learning process.
