We are famous for our cows, cheese, cider and the largest open-air music festival in Europe. In Somerset we love big ideas and are working towards a county where artists, practitioners and companies are inspired to make, produce and present extraordinary theatre.
Take Art Theatre offers support, resources and opportunities to Somerset-based artists, practitioners and companies; young people and youth theatre companies; venues and programmers.
If you make, produce or present work predominantly for the people of Somerset and your practice would benefit from our support, then we’d be happy to hear from you.
Take Art Theatre also runs a number of projects, such as the Made in Somerset events, Spoken Word residencies and a number of youth theatre projects. These are all detailed on our projects pages.
For current opportunities, news and listings please visit the new Danceandtheatre Somerset website.
