Piglet Pen

A multi-sensory experience for families and children set in an idyllic garden in the Somerset countryside

Join us for an afternoon of discovery, play and relaxation at the Piglet Pen! This event is part of The Somerset Food Trail 2022 and perfect for under 12's and their families.

In collaboration with Cultivate project at Take Art and as part of the Somerset Food Trail 2022, The Pig Pen is excited to host their first summer Piglet Pen on 17 July, 12-3pm. 

Come and discover the magic:

  • Create your very own herb garden and personalised pot and be Inspired by Eric Carle’s Hungry Caterpillar story
  • Explore the Piglet Pen’s vegetable patch and spot as many vegetables as you can
  • Taste a delicious Piglet lunch bag made by Kath and Trev, from The Pig Pen, who use only the very best in 'locally sourced' produce 
  • Watch Tor Theatre’s family show ‘The Rumtale of the Moonfleet Diamond’
  • Listen to music from local band, Oconee Bell: A folk/Americana multi-instrumental trio playing original songs and covers

Tickets: £7 children (under ones free) and £10 adult

The price includes lunch, homemade lemonade or water, tea/coffee

Just bring a picnic blanket or something to sit on
