We are offering three placements working in different areas of our organisation.
Arts Administrator – an opportunity to work in our busy office, learning how administrators help support all areas of Take Art’s work. This is a change to gain an insight into how an arts organisation works and grow your knowledge and skills within an office environment
Digital and Multimedia Assistant - working on digital marketing initiatives which support Take Arts activities. A chance to show your creative skills and create content for our Social Media channels. Learn about how an arts organisation uses different ways to market our activities and events.
Dance Assistant – a chance to support Take Arts dance activities and learn how different dance events are run with hands on experience at our different events and projects. Gain an understanding of the producing side of dance at a county level.
Kickstart is a £2 billion fund that is supporting the creation of high quality 6-month work placements aimed at those aged 16-24 who are on Universal Credit. The roles Take Art has created aim to give young people the chance to build their confidence and skills in the creative workplace, and those employed will gain experience that will improve their chances of going on to find long-term, sustainable work within the creative industries.
The placement is 25 hours per week for six months starting in December 2021.

Due to Take Art’s rural location it is essential that you have access to your own means of transport to our office, we can offer help towards the cost of transport for the length of this placement if needed.
