Project Overview

Take Art have joined forces with Aesop, to deliver a fantastic new project at Dunkirk House in Taunton which is part of the national project Dance To Health.

Dance To Health is a pioneering nationwide falls prevention dance programme for older people, led by Aesop. Combining evidence and physiotherapy with the creativity, expression and energy of dance, it reduces the risk of an older person suffering a fall.

Dance to Health groups are led by trained dance artists who embed evidence based falls prevention exercise in creative, fun, sociable dance session for older people who have been suffering falls or at risk of falling.

Two Somerset based dance artists have been recruited to start their training with Later Life Training and the new project is due to begin late September of this year.
