Circus Around And About Returns

June 29, 2026

Take Art is delighted and pleased to receive an Arts Council England National Lottery touring project grant of over £139,00 for our next small scale Southwest touring circus project, Circus Around And About. Working with our main partner, Bristol based Circus City, and 10 other presenting partners from Gloucestershire to Cornwall, we will be touring outdoor and indoor circus shows through June 2027 to May 2028.

Our aim to increase Disabled audiences will be supported through a team of locally recruited Community Producers who will build relationships with d/Deaf and Disabled groups. A call out out for circus companies with ready to tour shows, both in the UK and Europe, will take place in September and we are excited about touring two pre-selected companies: Paris based Cie Zalatai and Southwest based Head over Wheels.
