Our Turn is an arts intervention project using dance and movement to help the health and happiness of vulnerable adults living with dementia or memory loss, and their carers.

The Rural Touring Dance Initiative (RTDI) brings exciting and innovative dance theatre and dance performance to rural locations, using the established rural touring schemes to help make this happen successfully. 2015 - present.

Spring Forward is an annual dance festival offering unrivalled opportunities for Somerset and South West dancers to perform on a professional stage, participate in workshops and watch world-class dance performances. February 2005 – Present

SoundWaves is an Early Childhood Music Programme in South West England designed to embed inclusive, child‑centred music in everyday early years practice.

My Tunes is a long running project from Take Art and Actiontrack that utilises the levelling power of music, working with some of the most isolated and disadvantaged young people in the county. Sep 2012 - present day

Outthere is a companion participatory music project to My Tunes. In it we focus on working with 16-25 year olds who are ‘Not in Education, Employment or Training’ (NEET) or at risk of becoming NEET.

Crossing Borders: A European Rural Touring Project has been selected to participate in the EU-funded project, Perform Europe in 2022.

Take Art is working in partnership with Octagon Music Hub to support early years music and creative practice across Somerset and Dorset. We do this through providing bespoke training for staff, leading on creative projects within early years settings and creating connections via networks.

A three-year project supporting children aged 2-5 and the adults who work with them. Through creative music-making, mentoring and professional development, the project will help Early Years settings across Somerset, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole embed high-quality, child-centred musical experiences that celebrate children's creativity, curiosity and voice.
