Outthere

Outthere is a companion participatory music project to My Tunes. In it we focus on working with 16-25 year olds who are ‘Not in Education, Employment or Training’ (NEET) or at risk of becoming NEET. It is delivered by Actiontrack music leaders and funded the Octagon Music Hub (Somerset & Dorset’s Music Education Hub).

As with My Tunes, wework mainly on a one-to-one basis either at the Actiontrack Recording Studio inTaunton, or in spaces local to the participants. Sessions are co-authored withthe participants and are constructed around their interests. A variety of music-making styles and genres are on offer and we reach individuals through a referral process.
