Do you love to dance? Then we want to hear from you!
Applications are now open for Spring Forward 2027, Take Art’s annual celebration of dance across Somerset and the South West. Now in its 22nd year, Spring Forward brings hundreds of dancers of all ages and abilities together to perform on professional stages in Taunton and Bridgwater.
Whether you’re part of a youth group, community group, school, college or dance company, Spring Forward is a chance to share what you’ve been working on, meet other dancers and enjoy the buzz of performing in a professional venue. It’s non-competitive, welcoming and open to all styles of dance.
As one previous participant, James Northover from The MAD Community CIC, says:
“Spring Forward is one of my favourite dates in the calendar as it is a great opportunity to engage with the wider dance community in a supportive and non-competitive environment. The children absolutely love watching other groups dance and having the opportunity to show off what they've made.”
