We have been delivering shows all over the county in March offering a packed programme of opportunities to see great live performance no matter where you live. Flibbertigibbet’s tour of The Farmer and The Clown enchanted family audiences with their tale of acceptance and cooperation; French Folk trio Cri du Canard’s infectious enthusiasm got people up and dancing traditional French dances; and Max Calaf Sevé brought his trampoline show Anyday to large audiences as part of our Circus Around and About project.
We are finishing the Spring season with a flourish as we welcome Balkan party band Opa Rosa back for their final appearances of the year and it’s the only chance to see the Edinburgh Fringe hit children’s show I Piano. Help the Piano find it’s music on an adventure that will you have you hunting down clues, composing your own songs and exploring everything from Beethoven to boogie-woogie!
We would like to thank everyone who donated during our Big Give fundraising campaign. We raised £4,500 from this which will go directly to the Rural Touring scheme and will aid us in serving the desire of Somerset communities to host incredible artists in their local venues. Thank you for your support, it means we can continue what we love doing; making extraordinary moments happen in ordinary places.
