As our scorching summer retreats, Take Art delivers more of the best live performance to fill our village halls with light and life as the days get darker.
We have a range of theatre and music for all ages coming in October and November. We kickoff the season with Pipeline Theatre’s new show George and the Drag Queen, which promises to be a humorous and life affirming piece set at a village fete. (Trigger Warning: contains scenes of empathy and mutual understanding.)
Bizet’s Carmen is reimagined in A Pocket Opera in an intimate setting and lead you joyously through the story, but this time, told from Carmen’s point of view. A mixture of opera and theatre you can’t miss!
Musically we have all bases covered, Little Bulb’s Listen Dance will continue to serve their fun led night of dance leading you through the many dance styles including ceilidh, rock and roll, disco and even a beginner’s guide to moshing! If a more acoustic evening is your bag, wrap your ears around the soft country-lilt of Canadian Singer Songwriter Maddie Storvold.
