Flora ID walks for families with Julia – Ham Hill Ranger!

Ham Hill's Northern Spur boasts a wealth of species among its calcareous grassland. Join Julia the Fanger, for short walks in which, with the help of species guides and quadrats, we'll examine why the quarried slopes of Ham Hill harbour more wildlife than at first meets the eye. Suitable for families – up to 20 people per tour.

Although this walk is free, you can sign up on the day and make a donation. All donations go back into making more events like these happen.

There will be two walks, at 11.30am and 12.30pm

Meeting point at the Ham Hill Rangers gazebo – near the Millennium Stones

We can’t wait to welcome you at one of our Chill on the Hill 2025 workshops!
