    Little Big Dance is a major three-year national initiative created by South East Dance in partnership with Take Art, DanceEast and Yorkshire Dance, with more than £371,000 investment from Paul Hamlyn Foundation and Arts Council England.

  • ProjectSPARSE

    SPARSE is a partnership between seven European countries, all working together to formalise a pan European Rural Touring Network. Currently, with the exception of the UK, a rural touring network does not exist within much of Europe - SPARSE is all about sharing the UK model and experience to help build international rural touring networks.

    In January 2019 Take Art was invited to become one of 38 partners in the Horizon 2020 four-year funded research project, RURITAGE, profiling Take Art’s touring scheme as a model for rural regeneration across Europe.

  • ProjectLocomotor

    Locomotor funded by the Arts Council’s Strategic Touring fund, is a three-strand project run by Carn to Cove in Cornwall. The second strand, of which we are partners, involves all the touring schemes in the South West and supports them to present more diverse international work of different cultures within local community settings.

    Cultivate is Take Art’s local hub for the Ruritage project. Cultivate is a creative partnership between the local food and arts sectors working with four market towns in South Somerset and the community.

    A new local arts and community network for Somerset for 2021. Precipitated by Covid-19, Totally Local will strengthen and develop Take Art’s existing rural touring scheme and will establish a new network between our volunteer promoters and the wider Somerset performing arts sector.
