Birthday Day

A show devised exclusively for The Somerset Food Trail 2022

We welcome Wassail Theatre Company to Bower Hinton Farm to perform a unique show as part of Cultivate's collaboration with The Somerset Food Trail. Enjoy a farm to fork menu or a yummy cream tea from The Old Dairy Cafe.

Take Art's Cultivate project is delighted to be working with Wassail Theatre Company on a development of Director Nick White’s written story about farms, family and intergenerational stories, all inspired by Bower Hinton Farm.

We are excited to present theatre show “Birthday Day”, an outside theatre performance, hosted at Bower Hinton Farm, as part of The Somerset Food Trail 2022.

Sometimes, what we remember is happier than what is true.  Family secrets, birthday celebrations and pavlova come together in this new story inspired by the strawberries of Bower Hinton Farm.

Nick White, Director
