A free practical workshop that explores the use of large-scale construction, collaboration, imaginative play and three-dimensional creativity for practitioners working in early years environments.

Workshop Highlights
Hands-On Activity:
Participants will work collaboratively in small groups to build a pyramid-shaped den using simple materials such as bamboo, masking tape, lining paper, string, tissue paper, and translucent materials. Personalize your hiding place with decorations like flags and bunting.
Group Sharing:
At the end of the practical activity, groups will come together to showcase their dens and share their experiences.
Educational Insights:
Richard Tomlinson will present an illustrated discussion on the educational benefits of construction activities and their links to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
