Infinite Adventures-Movement Play for Early Years

With Hannah Lefeuvre and Take Art

Take Art has teamed up with Yeovil College to offer this FREE practical workshop

Move more, in a fun, comfortable and truly engaging way, without realising it!

Using music, movement, sensory experiences, the imagination and play, the session will resonate throughout the Early Years Foundation stage principles.  Itmay be of particular interest to settings wanting to increase opportunities for Playing and Exploring, Active Learning, Creating and Thinking Critically and Physical Development.

This practical and imaginative workshop will draw insight into movement explorations from over 60 settings, spanning almost 30 years of practice.

Hannah will share her tried-and-tested approach that evolved from truly responding to children’s interests, including those that were perceived as disruptive! The session will demonstrate the infinite possibilities for this approach, for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and families.

No previous experience necessary, just an open mind and willingness to have fun.

Bring: a bottle of water, a yoga mat, if you have one (not essential) and wear loose, comfortable, layered clothing, which sufficiently covers. We will work without shoes (support shoes are fine) and on the floor for the majority of the session (if comfortable), so please advise us in advance if this is likely to be an issue. Please also let us know of any other potential access needs for this movement session.
