SoundWaves Network SW Early Years Music training is coming to Somerset

Monday 18 September 2023 5:00pm - 7:00pm Draycott & Rodney Stoke C of E First School, Draycott, Cheddar

Led by Take Art’s Early Years Music team Jane Parker with Eliza Wylie, this training will support participants to:

Gain skills in developing very young children’s musicality through appropriate rhymes and simple songs
Help think about the role of music within all areas of EYFS, particularly communication and personal, social and emotional development.
Observe young children’s spontaneous music making and reflect on the role of the adult
Help practitioners overcome their fears of engaging in and leading music activities in a safe supportive space.
