InspirED is a Somerset wide education project that offers exciting and unforgettable arts opportunities to schools and Early Years settings through a range of high quality performance, exhibitions, artist-led workshops and training.
Each academic year InspirED delivers a rich programme of events, workshops and training, including online resources, celebration platforms, CPD/Networking and support for teacher lesson planning and schools with curriculum targets.
Who is InspirED
InspirED Somerset is a consortium of three award-winning Somerset arts organisations, bringing the skills and expertise of arts and media professionals direct to your school. The three organisations are Somerset Art Works, Somerset Film and Take Art in partnership with Somerset County Council, contracted by Somerset Education Partnership Board and supported by SASH and SAPHTO.

Our subscription based service ensures that schools benefit from the following free advice and support, networking and skills development, priority access to high profile artist-led residencies and community projects, county celebratory platforms and resources – including a dedicated website, online resources, telephone advice service and regular e bulletins.
Annual subscriptions* are based on just £1 per child – capped at £950 for large settings and minimum fee of £50 per setting.

Somerset Art Works is a registered charity and membership organisation. Somerset's only countywide agency dedicated to developing the visual arts.
Somerset Film is a registered charity trading as a company limited by guarantee dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through the use of film and digital technology. We are very fortunate to have two local patrons who are extremely experienced in their chosen fields and widely recognised for the quality of their work.
Take Art works with thousands of people across the county, providing opportunities for all ages and abilities to experience, participate and work within the arts.
