What is Locomotor?

Locomotor funded by the Arts Council’s Strategic Touring fund, is a three-strand project run by Carn to Cove in Cornwall.  

The second strand, of which we were partners, involved all the touring schemes in the South West and supported them to present more diverse international work of different cultures within local community settings. This included bringing shows and artists over from Spain, Lithuania and Sweden to perform and undertake workshop and participation activity across all the SW Rural Touring Schemes. Thanks to the support and subsidies offered by Locomotor, Take Art was able to host shows from Spanish circus theatre company D’Click, and Swedish theatre companies Sarajevo Big Bang and Teater DOS with Sitaraha The Stars.
