We have been very busy over the past few months delivering many-many shows across the whole of Somerset. We’re winding down our activity for the 2022-2023 season with a special treat coming in the form of Norwegian dance company Panta Rei, their show Make me Dance a feast to the senses.
This special one-off performance at Croscombe village hall is a mixture of dance and music, a kind of choreographed concert. If you can get to it, it’s a must-see.
We also have one more tour from wonderful actor and storyteller Debs Newbold of her critically acclaimed show Lost in Blue. She received standing ovations for her dates in March and she’s back with three more in April.
In February 2022 Lost in Blue ran for two weeks at the Lion & Unicorn, London, garnering two prestigious award nominations: the OffWest End (OFFIE) Award for Lead Performance in a Play and a Standing Ovation Award.
2023-2024
The new menu of shows for the 2023-2024 season of Rural Touring will be launched on 1 April. We are extremely grateful for the continued funding from Somerset Council and Seed. We’ll be back bringing more extraordinary performances to Somerset’s community venues.
Dates:
15 April: Panta Rei – Make me Dance @ Croscombe Village Hall
21-23 April: Debs Newbold’s Lost in Blue @ The David Hall, Corton Denham Village Hall and Kings Theatre, Cheddar.
