Marketing and Communications Manager for Take Art (maternity cover)

HOURS: 22.2 hours per week

Based in South Petherton in Somerset Take Art is a pioneering arts charity, serving the towns, villages and rural communities of Somerset, providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to experience, participate and work within the arts.

Established in 1986 as a rural touring scheme, Take Art has grown exponentially over the last 26 years to incorporate services in dance, theatre, music, education and early years creativity.

Take Art is currently looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Arts Marketing Manager to cover maternity leave from October 2013 to July 2014.

This is an exciting and creative position within a busy arts development agency. You will be expected to be flexible and strategic, with good skills in copywriting, marketing and design, able to manage the competing demands of a multi service organisation.

Experience in delivering marketing strategies and digital marketing essential. An interest in the performing arts, education and health and wellbeing would be an advantage.

Due to Take Art’s rural location it is essential that you have access to your own transport.
