As we enter the winter months, Rural Touring is taking a much needed breather before diving into a busy February and March full of shows.
We have been able to deliver a great programme of shows during October and November, and we’re really happy with the number of people we have engaged with. Thank you to everyone who has supported Take Art, the wonderful artists who worked with us and came to Somerset, our exceptional promoters, and of course, you, our audience! And thank you for all the lovely feedback you’ve given to us!
This December we welcome the living legend that is inaugural Storytelling Laureate, Taffy Thomas MBE. He will be touring a special winter-themed show presenting expertly-told stories accompanied by live music. You can still book here.
Discover why the robin has a red breast and hear legends that explain why we have tinsel and Christmas trees and why Somerset folk have fired guns into apple trees since time in memorial in this 2 hr show, that is the perfect lead up to your own Christmas celebration.
We also welcome back Blair Dunlop for the first of his 2024 shows. He performed to two very happy and full village halls in November. A very charismatic performer, he is a must-see! You can book your spot early here. Great as a Christmas present too!
Keep up to date with news via our social media channels to never miss the amazing performances that we bring to your community.
We wish you a wonderful Christmas, and a happy, joyous and healthy New Year!
