French circus company Hors Piste kick-started the season with their unforgettable and breath-taking acrobatic comedy piece Ordures et Menageres. After a nasty fall during their opening night, we were hugely relieved at Annick's speedy recovery - she was back on stage the following night, what a trouper!

Other rural touring highlights included Sophie Willan's The Novice Detective, organised in part by three enthusiastic groups of young promoters; Moscow Drug Club's sell-out tour (if you missed them, fear not, they're back in the Spring) and Gonzo Moose who wrapped up the autumn programme, giving audiences a rollicking good laugh in I'm An Aristocrat, Get Me Out of Here.

Take Art's shiny new season programme will hit doormats after Christmas, covering Take Art's many events and projects between January - July 2014. We'll see the return of some favourite folks as well as welcoming new talent to rural Somerset. One thing is for sure - there's plenty to look forward to in 2014!
