Earlier in October we completed Journey Exchange, an intergenerational, international project that brought together local people from Burnham and Highbridge, Somerset theatre-makers and artists from Hungary, Germany and Rumania. We hosted our European colleagues as part of the RIOTE3 project that we’re a partner in.

We were delighted to be able to share the learning of our 3 year Youth Music programme & launched a free resource with films of music practice in EY settings.

A brand new short dance film made in collaboration with up-and-coming hip-hop artist Joshua Nash, filmmaker Gemma Pons, and teenage dance students from Unlimited Dance Company in North Devon. Commissioned by Beaford and the Rural Touring Dance Initiative.

As part of our new Making & Believing project, we are looking for up to four Early Childhood Creative Practitioners to work on a freelance basis with us in Early Years settings across Somerset.

With huge thanks to Somerset County Council, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve been given funding for a brand-new dance project for people living with dementia, and their carers.

Take Art has been collaborating with our friends at Actiontrack Performance Company and working with young people across Somerset. #Focus5 is one of the referral agencies that we work with and they've been a brilliant connecting point for us to make contact with participants.
