Early Years Autumn Adventures

30 September 2022

With the arrival of autumn, the little ones settle into a new term of adventures at their nurseries, preschools and childminders. This means busy times for our Early Years team - Jane, Jennie, Nadine and Ralph - who are working with musicians, artists and performers planning meaningful creative experiences to support their development.

The early years - the first 5 years of life - is a key period that fundamentally shapes futures.  We know that creative engagement can play a powerful supporting role during this time. That is why we invest so much time and energy in working with the early years sector to provide stimulating and effective opportunities for children to enjoy.

Through music, performance or artistic engagement we aim to support children and the people working with them to foster improvements across identified key development areas, such as communication and language, personal, social, emotional and physical development.

Read on to find out what opportunities we have coming up for children aged 0-5 and the special people in their lives.

Watch A Live Theatre Show

Let’s Play Messing Around is a new show that has just been written specifically for little ones. It's a fun show about two children meeting and learning how to co-exist, play together, understand others’ and their own needs. It also explores their creativity and the ways in which they express themselves artistically.

See it on 8 October at The Princess Theatre, Burnham-on-Sea.  For further details and to book click here.

We are delighted to share that our Making & Believing project has arranged for this show to be performed within a number of settings across Somerset, Derby and Surrey. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for further dates coming soon!
