This morning the principal funder of the arts in England, Arts Council England (ACE), unveiled its list of National Portfolio Organisations for 2015-18 and we are pleased that Take Art has been shown a vote of their confidence. We will maintain the same level of funding for the next three years, enabling us to continue delivering high quality arts provision in Somerset. This will include work with all age groups and sectors of the community including schools, youth groups and residential homes. The main areas of our work are dance and theatre development, early years creativity as well as delivering the county's rural touring scheme.

In our ACE assessment we were scored strongly against our three goals: artistic excellence; reaching and engaging communities; children and young people.

We’d like to thank the continued support of our colleagues, volunteers/promoters, partners, board members and audience members. Without their help, commitment and time Take Art would not be able to continue providing a high quality arts provision for communities and individuals in Somerset.
