Take Art is currently seeking new Board members specifically with industry experience in one of the following specialisms: Marketing and PR, Corporate and Philanthropic Giving, Human Resources, Business, Charity Law, Health Sector, Compulsory Education and Local Government along with a passion for the arts. We want you to bring your ideas to the arts and to share with you the richness and creativity the arts offer. Take Art has a lively Board open to new ideas and excellent staff.
ABOUT TAKE ART
Take Art is a pioneering arts charity and a medium sized business serving the towns, villages and rural communities of Somerset. We do this by providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to experience, participate and work within the arts.
Established in 1986 as a rural touring scheme, Take Art has grown exponentially over the last 26 years to become an arts development agency, incorporating services in rural touring, dance, theatre, music, spoken word and early years creativity. Our office is sited on a farm near South Petherton, a central location with good access to all parts of Somerset.
Through our work we aim to challenge, entertain and enrich individuals and communities through the arts, with work that reflects the cultural and social diversity of Somerset.
