Following on from the first Soundwaves network, Take Art has secured funding to continue their work connecting individuals, musicians and organisations keen to develop music in early years settings in the region. The project will reinforce regional music practice for the under 5s through high quality workforce development, complemented by a locally identified and varied portfolio of music projects in settings, initially in Bristol, Devon and Somerset. Learning will be shared through early years networks, Music Education Hubs, CPD opportunities, partner meetings and a final Symposium in Spring 2018.

This grant will be boosted by match funding from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, SCC, InspirED and RIO to further strengthen the regional Early Years music practice.
