Tangle Theatre

20 February 2012

Tangle is one of the UK's newest and most exciting theatre companies. Founded in south west England in 2009 to break down 'cultural walls', they work with theatre people from across Africa as well as Europe and the Caribbean, to champion, celebrate and integrate their amazing skills in the UK's mainstream theatre sector.

A team of three members of Tangle Theatre are coming to work in Somerset.  They are Artistic Director and Writer Anna Coombs, Darren Hart, who played Everyman in Tangle's very successful Everyman, and Msimisi Affolderbach Dlamini (known as Mysh) who played God in Vanhu Vese. Darren is half Jamaican and half Antiugan. Mysh is from Swaziland and trained at RADA.

  • On Sunday 4th March, the company will lead an all-day workshop for practitioners and graduates at Ridgway Hall, Langport.  Plenty of places still available - more info here
  • On Thursday 8 & Friday 9 March, they will be working with gifted and talented students at Wadham School, Crewkerne
  • On Wednesday 14 & Thursday 15 March, the company will be back again to work with students at Fairmead School, Yeovil
