'Tone Dance' perform at a celebration of 'Older People's Dance'

Tone Dance are a passionate and dedicated group of older dancers from Somerset led by professional dance artist Sue Way. The group formed as part of Take Art's three year Step Change project and have been running independently since the project completed in 2010.

On Tuesday 1 October (UK Older People's Day) they will be heading to Dartington in Devon to be part of Dance in Time, an evening of performance, film and discussion around the value of dance in the third age and how it can contribute to the arts and health agenda.

The event will start with a reception in the Garden Room at 6pm, leading into performances and films from 7pm.

Groups performing include Tone Dance from Somerset; Inner Ground from Cornwall; Dawlish Dancers from Devon; A Dance a Day from Dorset and Dancing Through Life from Wiltshire.
