Spring Forward Festival 2014 is going to be huge and this year we are looking for a young person to design a new Spring Forward logo, which can be used throughout the festival on all publicity, brochures, websites and posters. The deadline date has been extended!

As part of Spring Forward’s 10 year Anniversary Take Art will be hosting this year's Regional Youth Dance Platform; U.Dance South West 2014.

Somerset Film and Video have put together four short documentary films taken from Word/Play: The Thing Is... Each documentary focuses on a different group of participants and their adventures in spoken word. You can watch the films here!

InspirED’s Primary School platform was a creative afternoon of dance, music and song and included children from Preston Primary School, West Chinnock and Countess Gytha School.

After the success of inspirED’s secondary school Drama Festival which took place on 26th June at The Merlin Theatre, Frome we are now looking forward to scheduling the 2014 Drama Festival for inspirED subscribing schools!

InspirED is a new consortium of local organisations bringing the skills and expertise of arts and media professionals direct to schools, colleges and children’s centres across Somerset.

The Octagon Theatre invites dance companies to apply for the newly created Octagon Dance Associate bursary. The £5,000 bursary is in partnership with Take Art Dance, Somerset County’s dance development agency.
