Take Art are hosting this year's regional youth dance platform, U.Dance South West, in partnership with Pavillion Dance South West. We are delighted to announce the groups who have gained a place at this prestigious event.

As part of InspirED Somerset, Take Art and Spaeda are offering a range of creative training opportunities for those working in the early years sector in Somerset.

In response to the current devastating flooding situation on the Somerset Levels and Moors, Take Art is re-staging, as a rehearsed reading, Shiona Morton's play that toured the South West to great acclaim in 2006. All proceeds go to support the Somerset Flood Relief Campaign.

As a precursor to Word/Play Phase 3, Tangle Theatre will be delivering inspirational workshops in Somerset at the end of March as part of their Dream Nation SW tour. Check out Tangle's launch video here....

Life Circles has been a 2 year initiative aimed at supporting the lifelong creativity of frail older people through innovative, imaginative and inspiring community dance practice in the South West. Download the Evaluation Report written by Caroline Barnes on behalf of Core Dance.

Core Dance and Take Art have worked together on this innovative, imaginative and inspiring community dance project supporting the creativity of older people living in care settings.

InspirED Early Years looks forward to offering an exploration in the Reggio approach in early years.

DanceNet event engages with over 50 students and 30 teachers in a networking, workshop, dance platform.

Take Art is currently looking to recruit a part time Office Administrator for an initial 12 Month fixed term contract starting mid-December. Salary up to £15,000 pro rata according to experience. 29.6 hours per week, over 4 to 5 days. Read more here...

Spring Forward Festival 2014 is going to be huge and this year we are looking for a young person to design a new Spring Forward logo, which can be used throughout the festival on all publicity, brochures, websites and posters. The deadline date has been extended!
