Students and teachers at five InspirED schools, including North Town in Taunton, Vallis First School in Frome, Butleigh near Glastonbury, Parkfield in Taunton and Preston Primary in Yeovil, were given a very special and captivating experience when Maasai Warriors visited their schools.

The Osiligi Maasai Warriors from Kenya performed a lively mix of song, stories and the amazing Maasai jumping. Children were engaged from start to finish by the Maasai’s colourful and beaded clothes, jewellery and head dress. Individuals got to dance with the Maasai, jump and sing – including some of the class teachers!

Schools then continued the experience into their literacy and art lessons, dance and topic work.
