Apple Art Project Extended!

20 November 2020

Take Art's Apple Art project extends the deadline to harvest your home drawn and painted apples!

Extended until Friday 1 January 2021, due to the second lockdown, we welcome you to send in your individual apples for this fun, community activity.

Working with artist Natasha Rand, from Creation Generation, our aim is to display a community apple tree throughout the month of December into the New Year for the community to enjoy and feel apart of. Each apple will be individual and unique, the more apples the better!

We are asking for apples from individuals, groups, schools, care homes and anyone that would like to take part. Apple Art is the first activity through the Cultivate Project linked with Ruritage, a 4 year European project that Take Art are a partner of.

Watch this space on updates on where the tree will grow its branches! North Perrott Farm Shop will be displaying the tree at some point over the coming months along with library windows and a key community spot in Crewkerne. Keep your eye on the Cultivate web pages for details.
