Take Art Theatre is delighted that 12 people have successfully applied to participate in the Word/Play forum theatre residential training programme next month. We will all now be retreating to the beautiful countryside around the Magdalen Project, Chard, for three days in July and to Beaford Arts Centre, North Devon, for two days in August.

A two-year theatre and spoken word project for Somerset entitled Word/Play, has been given the green light thanks to £75,000 support from the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, one of the largest independent grant making foundations in England, and a further £17,000 from the Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales.
