Take Art look forward to a creative year working with schools in the county as part of InspirED Somerset.

Core Dance and Take Art have worked together on this innovative, imaginative and inspiring community dance project supporting the creativity of older people living in care settings.

We’re delighted to unveil another jam-packed season of Take Art events for communities across Somerset, seeing you through January to July 2014. On our rural touring circuit we welcome back some popular favourites as well as new faces to the county this season.

InspirED Early Years looks forward to offering an exploration in the Reggio approach in early years.

The deadline is fast approaching for the final round of our seed fund for Somerset theatre, dance and performance makers. Submit your application by 31st January. Download the criteria and application form here.

An InspirED event as Birdsnest Theatre performed their uplifting show - Blown Away to two Somerset schools and engaged with early years teachers and practitioners.

The Osiligi Maasai Warrior troupe entertained local Somerset schools with their Maasai jumping, song and dance!

As part of our European funded dance project, DanSCe Dialogues 2, Take Art's Early Years team were able to offer two bursaries for two freelance Early Years creative artists to attend the CONNECT Conference in Canterbury.
